MORRISVILLE, N.C. - In celebration of Schelling’s 100 years in business, IMA Schelling Group USA will hold an open house on October 4-6 at its Morrisville, North Carolina headquarters. Attendees will celebrate with entertainment, food, and prize giveaways.

The event will feature a golf outing at Pine Needles Lodge and Golf Club, near Pinehurst on October 4th while the main event will be on October 5th, where vendors and associates will be on hand to offer educational seminars and demonstrations. Precision Schelling panel saws and material handling systems will be performing in IMA Schelling Group’s new showroom.

In 1917, Georg Schelling started the company as a repair shop for local whetstone factories, mills, and saw mills in Austria. His passion led to the development of the company’s first panel board divider in 1945. Since then, Schelling has advanced in the industry from the addition of moving saw blades to developing automated cut-to-size board plants.

IMA Schelling Group USA, located in Raleigh, North Carolina, is the combined North American headquarters of both IMA Klessmann GmbH (Germany) and Schelling Anlagenbau GmbH (Austria). IMA and Schelling each provide complementary sophisticated technologies for the wood, metal, and composite sectors.
