CMA to hold Charlotte event, offer four tours

A tour of Decore-ative Specialties in Monroe, North Carolina, will be part of the CMA October event.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Cabinet Makers Association has announced that registration is now open for their next regional event, which will be held October 26-28, 2016 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

This two-and-a-half day event begins on Wednesday at Biesse Group’s newly expanded Charlotte campus for a seminar on cabinets and countertops.  On Thursday, the group will tour Riddley Retail Fixtures in Kings Mountain, as well as Decore-ative Specialties in Monroe. Lunch will be served after a cooking demonstration at the local SubZero and Wolf Showroom.  Friday morning, attendees will visit the Blum manufacturing facility in Stanley.

Space is limited, so people are encouraged to register early. The registration fee for members is $75 and non-members are $125 per person. If non-members decide to become members before November 30, 2016, their membership dues will be discounted $50. Also, students and instructors of woodworking programs are encouraged to attend the event for only $25. The registration fee includes transportation and most meals.
