2015 Cabinets & Closets Conference and Expo in Chicago was a Success!

2015 Cabinets & Closets returned to greater Chicagoland, April 14-16, at the Renaissance Convention Center, Schaumburg, IL.

The 2015 event followed last year's successful run in Somerset, NJ. The Chicago location represents a homecoming for the show that was in Chicago last five years ago.

With more than 50 exhibitors on board to, the Expo -- April 15 & 16 -- was the biggest and best ever. The Expo featured a dynamic mix of cabinet and woodworking machinery, CAD/CAM software, cabinet and closets hardware, wood components and much more.  Tool Zone, informational presentations, an auction benefitting education and the industry awards reception were included in Expo floor admission.

The all-day Cabinets & Closets Conference -- April 14 -- featured three industry tracks: Closets, Custom Cabinetry and Design.  Learning and networking opportunities abound!

Cabinets & Closets 2016 will be held March 22-24 in Pasadena, CA.

Sign On, Get Famous, in Young Wood Professionals Week

The Young Wood Professionals program was an instant hit last year - possibly because it is so easy to join in: you just post a wood project you've done, using the hashtag #YWPweek. We put finalists on Facebook to narrow the field to 5, and the finalist chosen by the editors wins the Young Wood Professionals award, and gets invited to our Pasadena, CA awards gala in March 2016!

Cabinetmakers on Track at Cabinets & Closets Conference & Expo

The Cabinet Makers Association had a significant presence at this year’s Cabinets & Closets Conference & Expo, held April 14-16 in Schaumburg, IL. The CMA was not only a co-sponsor, but provided valuable knowledge through the sessions it provided for the Custom Cabinetry Track portion of the conference.
