EXPLOSION-PROOF DUST COLLECTION

General International introduces the Model 10-350 M1, M2, and M3 3HP Dust Collectors in the Explosion Proof Series. The 10-350 dust collectors have a fully enclosed dust extractor designed for continuous use, featuring the use of negative pressure to ensure that all air returned is filtered.  Complying with ATEX directive 94/9/EC, the company says the units are suitable for use in potentially explosive environments and feature fire suppression equipment plus explosion relief venting for safety. Filters are cleaned automatically for ease of maintenance and extended canister life, says the company and systems are designed for permanent ducting to help provide a clean and dust-free shop environment. All systems comply with CSA, CE and CSA USA regulations. The M1 has a 3 HP, 220 V, 1 Ph motor; the M2 motor is 3 HP, 220 V, 3 Ph; and the M3 has a 3 HP, 600 V, 3 Ph motor.
