Giben introduces the ZERO beam saw. According to the company, the machine is the only panel saw on the market without motors on the saw carriage; the design is said to eliminate vibrations that could negatively affect the quality of cut and the life of tools.

I've heard that panel saws are a thing of the past and that most
wood contract manufacturing companies
are leaning more towards machine center products. I'm curious as to what other
manufacturers think, as we are trying to decide what direction to go.
