DETACHABLE CONNECTOR

Colonial Saw introduces the Lamello Medius detachable connector, part of the Clamex P System. The Medius detachable connector allows users to create nearly invisible RTA connections in material as thin as 16mm without screws or glue, says the company. The small installation depth of Clamex P Medius makes it a suitable joining element for miter joints of all angles from 30 to 180 degrees. Installation for Medius can be made with a CNC machine or hand-held Lamello Zeta P2 Biscuit Joiner. A patented ridge system eliminates the risk of torsional movement, says the company, and eliminates the need for additional positioning elements such as dowels. Medius also can be used where two shelves come together on a divider as small as 5/8” and can be used for closet shelf divider applications.
