COMPACT PRO IMPACT DRIVER

Porter Cable introduces the launch of its ¼ -inch Hex 4.3 amp Impact Driver (PCE201). The PCE201 provides the performance of a cordless impact but also increases productivity as the product requires no re-charging time. The compact impact driver features a 4.3-amp motor with 3,500 beats per minute (BPM). The metal gear housing helps dissipate heat build up caused by the impacting mechanism, allowing for durability during heavy-duty applications. The impact driver delivers 1,450 inch-pounds of max torque, enabling professionals to complete a wide range of fastening tasks, says the company. Equipped with a variable speed trigger and reversing unit, the PCE201 provides up to 2,900 revolutions per minute (RPM) for control and fast speed of application. At 3.25 pounds, it is small and compact enough to use overhead and horizontally. Professional-friendly features include an electric brake, ¼-inch hex chuck and external brushes for easy servicing and an ergonomic handle. Also included is a belt hook that can be attached to either side of the tool. The PCE201, available in November 2012, has a three-year limited warranty.
