General International’s Heavy-Duty Chuck Guards are designed to help reduce the risk of drill press accidents.  General International says the design of its Heavy-Duty Chuck Guard makes it impossible to close the access door is the key is forgotten in the chuck but allows the door to open easily for full chuck access when needed. When the door is closed, it virtually eliminates user access to the chuck before, during and after use, says the company. The Heavy-Duty Chuck Guard is available in three sizes (55, 65 and 75 mm). It features heavy-duty industrial quality construction with a body made of heavy-gauge, non-corrosive aluminum with no plastic involved, finished in high-visibility “caution” orange.
