NON-WOVEN FLAPWHEEL ABRASIVES

sia Abrasives, Inc. USA announces the release of its new sia fleece Non-Woven Flapwheels, available Jan.  1, 2013 in Heavy-Duty grade (series 6130) and Clean and Finish grade (series 6120).  Heavy Duty series 6130 wheels provide longer life in mechanical medium pressure applications, whereas the Clean and Finish series 6120 wheels are suitable for low-speed, low pressure applications, says the company.  These non-woven flapwheels are ideal for cleaning and coating removal, deburring and blending, and surface preparation.  The flapwheel abrasives are part of sia’s non-woven product line, which  the company says provides a consistent scratch pattern due to superior grit consistency with a grit that is impregnated throughout the entire structure.
