Accu-Systems, Inc. introduces its Panel Sizing and Squaring Machine, an IWF 2012 Challengers Award Entry. The 2S Machine is a multi-axis, multi-function CNC machine designed to size panels safely and quickly, removing the possibility of operator error, says the company. After having been positioned against the fences, the work piece is automatically positioned for sizing by the CNC controlled work surface. With available options a CNC controlled shaping spindle engages the work piece and shapes the part. CNC control of the sizing and squaring streamlines and simplifies the process while doubling production and offering operator safety, says the company.
