Biesse’s Elix Series offers a fast, flexible and efficient advanced horizontal drill, glue and dowel insertion machine, says the company, and is a key machine for efficient cabinet manufacturing cells. The numerical control features the XP600 PC-driven technology, says the company, also used on the Rover line. The line offers different sizes and a large variety of options. The Elix offers a drill rotation speed of 6000 rpm with a maximum depth of hole with dowel insertion of 30 mm and maximum dowel projection of 15 mm.
