Schattdecor introduces Tavern Walnut 2-board, a flooring décor that features deep cracks and dark streaks in both the sapwood and heartwood areas, says the company, to give the decorative overlay a striking look. It also contains finely-textured areas alternating with coarser, distinctly-pored sections. Schattdecor Designer Mark Smith introduced his latest collection of trending woodgrain colors, the Global Spice Collection, in 2012. Tavern Walnut is featured in Coriander, Cinnamon and Lavender from the Global Spice Collection, Smith’s woodgrain palette of colors based on typical and atypical spices he says one might find in the global market.
