Riverside Tool Corp. now offers the Albrecht Überchuck tool holder. The Überchuck combines accuracy, rigidity and ease of use, says the company. The Überchuck offers extremely high gripping torque on a 1/2" tool of 200+ nm, more than a heat shrink tool holder, says the company, with a tolerance of 0.00012” total indicated run-out or better. In addition, the Überchuck completes a tool change in a few seconds. Due to the rigidity and dampening offered by the Überchuck, tool-life can be increased by 60%, says the company.
