SketchList Offers 3D Woodworking Design Software for MACsMILTON, MA -- SketchList Inc. announced a new release of SketchList 3D woodworking design software for the MAC. The company has been developing and marketing woodworking and cabinet making modeling software since 2006. This release of the MAC version brings easy-to-use 3D woodworking modeling capabilities to that platform. A free trial is available on the company website – SketchList.com.

Professional woodworkers use SketchList as a sales tool as well as a shop planning aid. Dave Rozewski , President of SketchList Incorporated, said that one driving force in the custom woodworking market is the ability to show prospective clients a high quality 3D image of the proposed project. "If you have one you'll probably win the job. If you don't have one you won't. The days of hand drawn pictures selling custom made work are a thing of the past."

SketchList 3D allows users to create models by inserting three dimensional virtual boards onto the screen. These boards then can be sized, moved, and shaped just like the work was being done in the shop. The result is an intuitive way of creating designs that is easy to learn and use. Because SketchList 3D is specifically designed for cabinet making and furniture building it integrates woodworking the functions of joinery, door and drawer placement, and cutting holes and contours.

Each time a design is changed the parts list, purchase list, optimized parts layout diagrams and shop drawings are automatically adjusted. Because of the intuitive woodworking centered modeling approach, new users find they are productive within a day of installing the software.

Models of entertainment units, wall offices, book cases, desks and kitchens can easily and quickly be designed with SketchList 3D. Changes to the design are instant and different variations of a design can be created, saved, and shown to prospects.

SketchList 3D is optimized to render even the most complex project quickly. Minimum system requirements are MAC computer with a Core2Duo Processor, 4 GB of RAM , Nvidia/Ati GPU , and 60 MB of free hard disk space. Initial registration requires an Internet connection.

SketchList 3D also runs on Windows based computers and project files can easily be moved from one platform to another. Sketchlist's worldwide customer base designs both in the Imperial and metric measuring systems.

The product is developed, disturbed, and supported by SketchList Incorporated.
