TigerStop Combines Wood Ripping and Cross-Cutting MachinesVANCOUVER, WA – By combining an optimizing ripping machine and an optimizing cross-cutting machine, TigerStop has created the Precision Rough Mill, which the company says helps small-to-medium shops "produce finish quality parts, lower their material costs, increase their yield, and adopt a true, just-in-time, lean manufacturing solution."

In addition to offering the capabilities of the TigerRip 1000 and the TigerSaw 1000, the Precision Rough Mill offers an alternative to using manual stops for cross-cutting or purchasing pre-ripped material.

The company says the Precision Rough Mill optimizes material yield with automated functions for ripping random widths and cross cutting. It also offers the ability to track cut progress, mark defects and label boards with ink-jet printing.

TigerStop will exhibit the Precision Rough Mill in Booth #5747 at IWF 2014, August 20 - 23 in Atlanta.
