Bosch CM10GD 10-inch Dual Bevel Glide Miter Saw

Mount Prospect, Ill. – After launching the Bosch 12-inch glide saw, professionals have been eagerly awaiting the announcement of a compact 10-inch version. Bosch has answered this call with the new CM10GD 10-inch Dual Bevel Glide™ Miter Saw. The second tool to feature the exclusive Axial-Glide™ System, the CM10GD offers unmatched smoothness and cutting control at all angles, as well as consistent precision throughout the life of the tool.

The Bosch CM10GD’s compact design eliminates rails to save up to 10 inches of workspace, allowing users to more easily work against a wall in hallways or workshops. The system also boasts durable precision in the toughest conditions, eliminating the need to frequently recalibrate for precise cuts. The glide technology allows for the ultimate smoothness and cutting control at all angles.

The new miter saw also boasts an expanded cutting capacity, with a 12-inch horizontal capacity, a 5-1/2-inch vertical capacity and a 6-inch crown capacity. Front bevel controls make it quick and easy for users to adjust bevel settings without reaching behind the saw, and tall, sliding 4-1/4-inch fences provide additional support for increased base and crown molding capacity. By using the Crown Chop Lock, users can maximize cutting capacity for upright base molding and nested crown molding by locking the head of the tool into the optimal position for cutting large base and crown moldings

Adjustable miter and bevel detents enable users to make precise common miter and bevel cuts, and the easy-to-access, push-button miter detent override allows for fine miter angle adjustment. The CM10GD features an ergonomic, ambidextrous trigger handle with a soft grip that maximizes comfort for all-day use, and a combination dust chute adapts to common 1-1/4-inch and 35mm vacuum hoses for best-in-class dust collection for easy clean-up after use.

Adding to the versatility of the CM10GD is its compatibility with a number of smart attachments such as the LS010 miter saw laser washer guide, MS1233 crown stops, and MS1238 extension rod material support kit, which build upon the increased productivity this saw delivers. An assortment of miter saw stands – such as the T4B, GTA3800 and T4B – and built-in carrying handles provide added portability and transportation solutions.

The CM10GD 10-inch Dual Bevel Glide Miter Saw is engineered to meet and exceed the precision, capacity, durability and quality demands remodelers, woodworkers or trim carpenters. Retailing for a suggested price of $699, the CM10GD will be available in February 2014 at authorized dealers nationwide.
