OAKLAND -   These mahogany plywood laser-cut sculptures are truly remarkable.

Created by Oakland-based artist Gabriel Schama and his trusty laser cutter, which he has named Elsie, these three-dimensional designs feature geometric shapes and different tones.

Schama says his sculptures are inspired by the human figure, architecture, and swirling mandalas. His work is currently for sale on his website, but is selling out fast.
