TORONTO – California Closets Washington DC was acquired by FirstService Brands, parent company of the California Closets franchise, as part of the company's plan to build a national platform of company-owned operations. FirstService also acquired Paul Davis Restoration North Florida.

The acquisition of California Closets Washington DC marks the 13th addition to California Closets company-owned locations and establishes a major platform for growth in the large DC metropolitan area, the company says.
