American Classic Cabinet Dealer Acquired by Universal Supply

HADDONFIELD, NJ - American Classic Cabinet Company, Haddonfield, NJ, has been acquired by building materials supplier Universal Supply Company, its fourth contractor showroom.

The American Classic Cabinet location joins Universal Cabinetry Design Centers in Trenton, Hammonton, and a  2,500 sq. ft. showroom and customer resource room in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. Its cabinetry selection kiosks are also available in Manahawkin and Cape May Court House, says Universal Supply, with another kiosk due soon in Gloucester, NJ.

Universal Supply, supplying lumber, cabinets, countertops, windows, doors, flooring and other construction materials was founded in 1965 by Joseph Umosella, Jr.It provides a number of contractor tools online, such as calculators for product lumber requirments or flooring footage.

Cabinetry lines available from Universal Supply include Rutt, Signature and Wellborn, and solid surface countertops from Granite and  Cambria. The American Classic Cabinet Haddonfield showroom will be re-designed to demonstrate the depth of its offering following the acquisition.

“I know this expanded product offering will bring new opportunity to builders, remodelers, and contractors from Medford to Moorestown to Audubon,” says American Classic Cabinet company founder Gary Okulanis.

Unversal Supply president Jeffrey Umosella says Okulanis excels in field measurements, and custom design planning. Universal Supply will stage a reception for contractors at the Haddonfield location Oct. 23 (call 609.569.1400 fir more)..
