LEESBURG, VA -- The Composite Panel Association Board of Directors elected its 2012 officers as well as new and re-elected members of its board and other leadership positions.

James Hogg of Uniboard Canada is chairman-elect; Bryan Wilson of Temple is vice chairman-elect; Kelly Shotbolt of Flakeboard is secretary/treasurer-elect; and Mike Blosser of Louisiana-Pacific will complete his term as CPA chairman at the end of this year and serve as immediate past chairman in 2012.

Five executive committee members were re-elected to "at large" terms including Emilio Ayub, Duraplay; Louis Brassard, Tafisa Canada; Chris Leffel, SierraPine; Wade Mosby, Collins; and Grady Mulbery, Roseburg. Dave Hoheisel, Marshfield DoorSystems, and Steve Stoler, Boise, were named as new members of the committee. Guenter Heyen, Unilin MDF, will step down from the executive committee at the end of this year.

Six associate members were re-elected to the CPA Board of Directors including Dale Plante, Momentive; Pierre Yves-Couture, CDM Décor Papers; Elliott Savage, Seemac; Linn Yeager, Southern Chemical; John Kaufmann, Kimball; and Eric Johnson, Omnova.

The CPA represents the North American composite panel and decorative surfacing industries and brings together the entire value chain affiliated with composite panels.
