Metropolitan Cabinets to expand its production, storage and office space

NORWOOD, Mass. - Metropolitan Cabinets & Countertops planned expansion includes production, storage, and office space in its newly purchased building.

The new building is located next to the company’s existing headquarters in Norwood, Massachusetts and it will provide additional space for the company to produce its kitchen and bathroom cabinets and countertops.

Metropolitan's existing 85,000 square foot headquarters consists of factory space, a showroom and offices, but the new building will eventually provide more production and storage space as well as additional offices for management and other personnel. The expansion is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

“This is truly an exciting time for our company,” said a Metropolitan Cabinets & Countertops representative. “We’ve been through a lot of changes in the 32 years we’ve been in business, but this may be one of the biggest. This expansion will allow us to better serve our customers, giving us even more space to build and produce the high quality cabinets and countertops they expect from us, at a higher volume to keep up with growing demand in this evolving housing market.”

In addition to its company headquarters and new building, Metropolitan Cabinets & Countertops also operates three other showrooms located .
