Kip Howlett, Executive Director, Hardwood Plywood & Veneer Association - Forbidden Woods: What you need to know about the Lacey Act

After a career spanning two decade with Georgia-Pacific Corporation, Kip launched a career in association management for industries closely allied to his areas of expertise. He spent 12 years with the American Chemistry Council where he was Vice president, then headed the State Foresters Association before joined the Hardwood Plywood & Veneer Association in 2007. A graduate of Johns Hopkins University, Kip took his Juris Doctorate at Williamette University, in specializing in Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law. 

Chip Wade, Founder - Wade Works Creative LLC - A Vision for Designing for the Future, Today

Atlanta native Chip Wade has building in his blood. Coming from a long line of experienced carpenters and wood craftsmen, Chip began working with his father and at an early age developed an interest in design, carpentry, landscaping and renovation. After graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering from Georgia Tech, Chip earned his certification in residential construction and transitioned into media in 2007, lending his carpentry skills to the Atlanta team of HGTV’s Designed to Sell. Since then Chip has appeared on HGTV’s Curb Appeal: The Block, Ellen’s Design Challenge, HGTV’s Showdown, HGTV’s Design Star, HGTV’s Wise Buys, Oprah, and CNN. Now on his Emmy Award winning series, Elbow Room, Chip shows HGTV and DIY viewers how to customize their spaces and transform homes. Among his latest developments is his company Wade Works Creative LLC, where visitors can take a 3D or Virtual Reality visit to his woodworking and fabrication shop.

Zach started Venveo to help companies bring their vision to life and share it with the world. Venveo is a digital marketing agency that specializes in the building materials industry, using its knowledge of products, construction practices and the channel to help its clients grow their sales by improving their online presence.
