Houzz expert Lindsey Thudin keynotes Cabinets & Closets Expo 2017 on Day 2
Houzz sales and marketing expert Lindsey Thudin will keynote the 2017 Cabinets & Closets Expo on April 13 - the second day of the show - giving closets and cabinet shop business operators the unique chance to speak directly with a representative of the popular home interior trendsetter.

The show runs April 12-13 at the Schaumburg Renaissance Conference & Convention Center in Schaumburg, Illinois - near Chicago. It follows a full-day conference at the same site on April 11.

Cabinet and closet businesses are enjoying a good business run as the housing market recovery drives remodeling, Thudin says. But customers need continuously refreshed creative approaches to projects in touch with contemporary design trends, and ever advancing technology.

"Customers now perform deep due diligence from the very start," says Thudin, and approach professionals for projects with ideas in mind. Houzz has established an increasingly important profile among closets and cabinet businesses as a platform for showing their latest work in the best light, in ways traditional websites, or generalized social media platforms, can't equal. Houzz navigation tools help consumers find projects done near them, along with all the information about the professionals that do them. This helps push bidding into the "traditional sales funnel - from consideration to credibility to the final stage of the sales process."

Thudin is part of the Community Team at Houzz. She is a public relations and branding strategist whose career has spanned many industries from education, to entertainment, and technology. She is particularly passionate about helping small businesses increase revenue through internet marketing strategies and new media. Thudin obtained a B.A. in Journalism and Public Relations from the University of St. Thomas and is currently pursuing a M.A. in Multimedia Communications from the Academy of Art University.
