GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Stiles Machinery Inc. recently held a Manufacturing Solutions Seminar at their showroom and finishing lab in High Point, North Carolina. The two-day seminar was designed to provide manufacturing professionals with insights from some of the experts and hands-on demonstrations in new panel and solid wood processing techniques, many of which will be on display at AWFS Fair in Las Vegas July 19-22.

“Exposure to new manufacturing concepts and technologies as well as the desire to continuously improve are imperative for companies who wish to remain successful in this rapidly evolving industry,” says Chris Dolbow, director of marketing at Stiles Machinery. “Events like our recent Manufacturing Solutions Seminar and the upcoming AWFS show in July are excellent opportunities for manufacturers to gain a competitive advantage over their competition through smarter production concepts.”

The first day of the seminar was dedicated to panel processing where experts showcased real-world solutions in inventory management as well as work cell demonstrations in workpiece sorting, cutting, machining, and edgebanding. Day two was dedicated to solid wood processing with a special focus on entry doors and windows.

Guests were introduced to the newest addition to Stiles’ line of wood machinery, the Salvador SuperPush 200 optimizing cross cut saw. Stiles also showed off tapio, the first digital platform designed to coordinate the entire value chain of the wood industry. More information on tapio and other technology will be on display in Stiles booth at AWFS Fair. Visit Stiles at http://www.stilesmachinery.com.
