NewStar Adhesives relocates to new Georgia plant
CARTERSVILLE, Ga. – NewStar Adhesives has moved to a new manufacturing facility located in Cartersville, Georgia. The 30,000-square-foot facility includes state-of-the-art manufacturing capabilities for its line of specialty adhesives. The company said the new plant is capable of producing high-quality industrial grade adhesives in a wide range of sizes from aerosol spray cans to 300-pound pressurized canisters, and from 1-gallon cans to 55-gallon drums.

Eames chair not 'famous' enough: Supreme Court denies Herman Miller trade dress appeal

CNC vacuum pump producer Republic Mfg. acquires Joost
DALLAS, Texas – Republic Manufacturing, a producer of pumps used for woodworking CNC vacuum hold down, has acquired Joost Industrial LLC.
Joost is a longtime distributor of Republic's blowers, vacuum pumps, and air knives. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
“Joost offers an exciting opportunity for Republic to strengthen its product and service offering in the Rocky Mountain and western regions of the United States,” said Zach Goff, CEO of Republic Manufacturing.

Best Home Furnishings Co-Founder & Chairman Clem Lange dies at 85
FERDINAND, Ind. - Clement M. “Clem” Lange, co-founder and chairman of the board of directors of Best Home Furnishings and an American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame member, passed away March 6 while resting peacefully in his “Best” recliner. He was 85 years old.

Furniture maker EJ Victor announces executive changes
MORGANTON, N.C. – Luxury furniture manufacturer EJ Victor announced a number of changes at its executive level. Effective immediately, current CFO David Bennett takes over the privately held company as president and CEO. John H. Jokinen, current director of Sales, will also take on the role of senior vice president of the Morganton, North Carolina-based company.
