Biscuit Joinery at Its Best

By David Getts | 03/06/2013 11:37:00 AM

Most woodworkers are very familiar with biscuit joinery. I know biscuits. I’ve been using them to assemble panels for over 20 years. Some of the equipment features that will help you step up your game in fine joinery include:

1. Soft start and speed control.

2. Base plates that sit flush on both sides, for more efficient positioning on the workpiece.

3. Height-adjustable cutter dial that enables micro adjustments to the position of the blade.

4. Separate base plates for multiple functions including easy indexing off miter joints and a large surface area for vertical joining applications.
