Greenbuild 2009 draws enthusiastic crowd

The 2009 Greenbuild International Conference and Expo, being held Nov. 11 to 13 in Phoenix, AZ, featured more than 1,000 exhibitors, 100 educational sessions, LEED and Education Provider workshops, off-site seminars and tours of local green buildings and more.

The opening plenary for Greenbuild 2009 featured speeches by Dave Kohler, president and COO of Kohler; Rick Fredrizzi, president and CEO of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC); GBC heads from 11 countries; and Al Gore, former vice president of the United States. Sheryl Crow also performed.
